It is still cold out, so welcome Winter Pack for Lightning Bug!

We were hoping to release Winter Pack at the beginning of the season but considering it is still snowing it many places around the world and we are still wearing our winter jackets we think it is still appropriate! As you know we try hard to listen to feedback from our users and still try to balance making free and paid plugins for Lightning Bug. We are releasing Winter pack as a FREE plugin and it contains new sound samples and loops as well as a new visualization that will warm you up on those cold nights!

Lightning Bug 2.4 Available Now in the Android Market!

Lightning Bug 2.4 addresses two requests we’ve been getting more and more email about!

First, if you’re a Froyo user, you can now disable your phones button lights while Lightning Bug is running. Some of you have phone’s that already do this, but for those of you that don’t you can finally get things nice and dark! Unfortunately we can only provide this to Froyo users for now, but we’ll continue to look into ways to provide this feature for older Androids.

Lightning Bug version 2.3 is now in the market!

Lightning Bug version 2.3, available now in the Android Market, is another release all about the fans! We went through hundreds of your emails and comments in the Android Market, came up with a list of the most requested features, and got cracking on the 2.3 build. We get tons of requests for new scenes and sounds also, so don’t worry. For those of you enjoying our new plugin feature, we’ll be releasing new plugin packs very soon!

Alarm Issue Fixed in Lightning Bug 2.1

Shortly after we launched Lightning Bug 2.0 we started to get quite a few email about issues with the alarm. First off we totally understand how frustrating an alarm problem can be and we apologize for the inconvenience. Despite the numerous reports we’ve received on this issue and despite all the testing we’ve done we were unable to reproduce the problem on our end! Thus the delay in posting a fix. However, over the past several days we were focused on resolving the issue.
