Lightning Bug 1.0.5 released!

Tonight we released Lightning Bug 1.0.5 to the Android Market. We added a new scene called “Beach at Night”. This scene brings the total to six different scenes that can be selected in Lightning Bug. Beach at Night by default plays a calming waves sound loop. You can also add the standard rain and lightning sounds as well as seagulls!

Please take a moment to review the application and post your rating/comments!

  1. I just got a droid yesterday and tghis may be my favorite app ! However, whenever my droid screen turns off the app stops, so it eats a lot of battery Other than that its amazing Thanks a ton

    1. Hey Andrew, you’re absolutely right. For the time being, using Lightning Bug for long periods of time is only advisable while the phone is charging. Thanks for the feedback and make sure you leave a comment for us in the Android Market if you haven’t already!

  2. When I found lightning bug, I was looking for an alarm clock… I LOVE the first part – listening to the rain and waves… HOWEVER, I downloaded the app yesterday – since the new release – and the alarm clock goes off in the morning, and I’m given the options of “Snooze – for 9 minutes” or “Enough already, I’m awake.” I can push either one, and the alarm won’t stop until I power down the phone. (So snooze of course is out of the question.)

  3. Looking forward to trying out the app again tonight and again in the morning, now that I’ve updated again!! Thanks so much!
